Phifer SunScreen - is a woven fiberglass product. The unique ribbed weave is designed to block up to 70% of the sun's heat and glare. SunScreen stops insects but will allow gentle breezes to enter. If your windows have existing insect screens, SunScreen can be installed in the same manner, often using the same frames. SunScreen offers good outward visibility and adds daytime privacy to your windows.

Capitol Screen Company also uses Phifer's newest product, PetScreen^® is a heavy-duty, pet-resistant insect screening which is seven times stronger than regular insect screening, therefore it is the ideal screening fabric for people with dogs or cats and high traffic areas.

We use 1 inch dimentional .024 heavy gauge frame.  The strongest roll form aluminum frame available on the market.  Most people don't, it costs more, our screens are built to last, with no sagging or wrinkles.   All larger windows on newer homes require this, to try and make quality screens out of light weight insect screens frames only results in poor appearance.

We use only synthetic splines, they will stand up to the Texas heat, most people don't, they use gum rubber that will dry out and the screens become loose and baggy.

We use only solid internal corners, not loose internals or non-solid externals, again assuring you the screen will stay just the way you purchase it.

On all track type windows, we use only solid metal clips, no nylon or plastics, they only break after a few months of sun and weather.  The metal ones will not.
